At Afri Green Centre, we are a passionate and dedicated team committed to making a positive difference in the lives of asylum seekers, refugees, immigrants, and native Africans in London and the surrounding areas. Founded in 2013, our organization was established to address the unique challenges faced by individuals and families who have experienced displacement, financial hardship, and social exclusion.
We are more than just a charity – we are a community. Our team is made up of individuals from diverse backgrounds, united by a shared vision of creating a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Afri Green Centre was born out of a recognition of the growing needs of asylum seekers and refugees in Doncaster. Many individuals arriving in the UK face significant barriers, including language difficulties, lack of access to employment, and social isolation. Our founders, deeply moved by these challenges, set out to create an organization that could provide practical support, foster integration, and promote well-being.
Over the years, we have grown into a trusted pillar of the community, offering a wide range of programs and services designed to address the physical, emotional, and social needs of our members. From vocational training and mental health support to cultural events and advocacy, we are proud to be a source of hope and opportunity for so many.
